FAQs

What time of day is best for our session?

If we're shooting outdoors I prefer to shoot at golden hour (just before sunset) for perfect even lighting.

In home newborn sessions are best done around midday (between 10am-3pm) while the sun is high in the sky.

Where can I get my photos printed?

Avoid Kmart, Officeworks & Big W.
These places tend to slightly change the colours and add saturation.

I recommend Fitzgerald Photos in Perth, alternatively Camera House is okay. I recommend a test print first.

Double check with their staff prior to printing & make sure you supply the high resolution files for printing.

Can we include our pets?

If we're shooting outdoors you're welcome to bring your furry friends along (just check with me regarding location first!) and you may want to bring treats and a leash.

If we're doing an in home session - yes!

What should we wear?

I always recommend wearing boho earthy tones (think browns, beige, khaki). Texture is always nice too (knits, linen etc). Avoid bright colours, busy patterns and logos.

For a lifestyle session please come as your beautiful selves, bring along any fav activities such as skateboards, surf board, fav toys & let’s capture some memories.

When can we expect our photos to be delivered?

You will receive your final gallery via email within 2-3 weeks of our session.

How do I pay?

A 25% booking fee is required to book our session date, the remaining 75% is due 7 days prior to our session.

Can we purchase extra images?

Yes you can - full gallery upgrades are $150. You can pay this once you have viewed your proofing gallery if you'd like to upgrade.
